New to Good Shepherd Owatonna?

Thinking of joining us for a service? Here’s an idea of what to expect:

How do people dress? Whatever is comfortable for you. No ties required. Come as you are.

What are the worship services like? Worship services last about an hour and include music, scripture reading, prayers, and a brief sermon. All worship at Good Shepherd is centered in God’s Word and his transforming love in Jesus Christ.

8:30AM Hymn Service

Filled with well-loved hymns led by an organ or piano, enhanced at times with a choir or a small ensemble.

10:00AM Worship Service

Filled with modern music led by our worship leaders with guitars, drums, and other instruments.

Sunday School

Children begin in the worship center with their family at 10:00am, and are dismissed to Sunday School after Opening Worship.

Sunday School small groups meet September through May. Watch for information on Vacation Bible School in the summer, too!

Nursery Care

The Nursery is available for parents to use with their children all morning. Staffed Nursery Care is available for children 0-3 at the 10:00AM service.

We also welcome infants and toddlers in worship, and consider the noises and challenges they bring blessings to our ministry.
