Today we install Pastor Harold Storm as Associate Pastor for Spiritual Care. Rev. Dr. Armand J. Boehme, Pastor Emeritus at Trinity Lutheran Church in Northfield, MN is our guest preacher for this special day.
Noisy Offerings for 2025
We’re collecting coins for TWO ministries: Christ’s Care for Children: Kenya where we sponsor a child and Feed My Starving Children. Drop your noisy coins in the container at the front of the worship center or at the offering table in the Gathering Area. Then pick up a jar to fill at home!
Women’s Bible Study: The Patriarchs
Begins Thursday, January 16 from 6:30-8:00pm
This winter we will plunge into the heart of Genesis. Many of the most profound and enduring concepts in the whole counsel of God’s Word are initiated in this marvelous book of beginnings. Materials are $16, payable at the first class. Sign up at the Welcome Center or REGISTER HERE.
Financial Peace University
Tuesdays beginning January 28 at 6:30pm
If you’ve ever felt like you just can’t get in control of your money, you’re not alone. Join our Financial Peace University class starting on Tuesday, January 28, 2024, and learn how you can pay off debt, save money, and build wealth.

Discipleship Groups in February
What happened during the “Last Week of Jesus’ Life”? While Jesus lived about 33 years, the Gospels spend more time focused on this week than any other part of his life. During the winter quarter, groups will explore what he did and taught during that week. Let Jesus’ life form your life this winter!

Identity Simplified: For Parents of Kids and Teens

We have heard from many parents who are struggling to teach their kids about identity from a biblical worldview. Join us for any or all 5 sessions to learn how to affirm your child’s identity in Christ! Register Here

Women at the Well: Women’s Ministry Input Meeting
Tuesday, February 4 from 6:30-8:00pm
Ladies! Please join us to explore opportunities to expand, enhance, and enliven Women’s Ministry at Good Shepherd Church. If you are interested in helping to shape the future of Women’s Ministry and learning how to get involved, this is for you! You will hear some of our initial ideas and participate in small group input discussions.

Backpack Project
We partner with our local elementary school to support families in need, and you can help. Volunteer one day a week and make a difference for local kids. Contact the Church Office.
Celebrate Recovery: Mondays from 6:00-8:00PM
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurts, hang-ups, and habits of any kind. It’s a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling your life.

In January we’re collecting PB&J for the Good Shepherd Pantry: Drop off small size peanut butter or jelly (18oz jars or smaller) at the display in the Gathering Area.
