Theme: It changed their life, those Magi. Not only did they go home a different way because of Herod, but they were changed by the experience themselves. They had been filled with exceedingly great joy!
Their hope was the same as ours, that Jesus would come for them. It’s almost the last word in the Bible, and it’s one of the first prayers many of us learned. And it’s true. Jesus came. He comes still. He will come again. That’s what Advent is about.
