Greetings from Mrs. Marcia Meiners. I was born and raised in Waseca and graduated from Winona State University with a degree in Teaching K-12 PE and Health. I started out as the chairman of the Preschool Board at Good Shepherd. Soon after that the Lord opened a door that has allowed me to serve as a teachers assistant for two years and three years teaching His Word to His children in our three and four year old classes. My past P. S. experience includes VBS and Sunday school in three different churches. Head Start (Special Ed), Montessori Preschool teacher, and eight years ECFE (birth to extended K classes) in the Owatonna schools. As a member of Good Shepherd church I’m involved in a variety of ministry groups. My husband Gordy Meiners is the retired Steele County Court Administrator. Our son Jonathan graduated from UMD in Geography and Environmental Studies. I serve on the board of the Advocates for Developmental Disabilities and a Puppeter for the Kool Kids. I enjoy being with my family and friends, traveling, being on a lake, gardening, our Minnesota seasons, and a lifetime Twins, Vikings, Gophers, and UMD Bulldogs hockey fan. My greatest joy is serving our Lord and Savior here at Good Shepherd and in my daily life.
