I grew up on a farm near Medford and attended Medford School and later Owatonna High School. Most of my working career has been in banking for about 25 years. I have attended South Central College in Faribault for leadership training and skills, Riverland College in Albert Lea for banking and finance and also Mankato State Extended Campus courses in accounting, English literature and writing.
My most important role is my family. I am married to my husband, Urban, who recently retired from Wenger Corporation. We have two married daughters and five grandchildren.
I have been employed in the church office since 2008 as office assistant and later as office manager. I truly enjoy working with our Pastors, Youth Minister, members of Good Shepherd and the numerous ministries at Good Shepherd. As a member of Good Shepherd, I am involved in a variety of ministries with a passion for prayer and local outreach, etc.
My husband and I love to travel, visit our grandkids, attend concerts and plays, gardening, etc. My husband and I are involved in the Steele County Fair, working in the Youth Art with our daughter. We also enjoy working at Habitat for Humanity homes being built in our area.
God continues to bless me and my family every day for which we are truly grateful.
